NO NO NO! TAKE MY ADVICE FROM SOMEONE THAT KNOWS! IT ONLY GIVES THE PARENTS WHAT THEY WANT!
WHAT ABOUT WHAT THE CHILDREN WANT. DOES ANYONE EVER STOP FOR A SECOND TO ASK THEM! 99% OF THE TIME, JOINT CUSTODY DOES NOT WORK. ME AND MY EX HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR A YEAR! IF YOU GIVE HIM
JOINT CUSTODY... YOU WILL NEVER GET HIM BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

| My parents split when I was 9. They had 50-50 and it worked well, very well. If you two have the same basic rules, stick to a schedule, and never argue around the kids it can be a very positive thing for them, I am also a mom with 50 -50 and a stepmom (husband has sole..) I can tell you in my honest opinion shared is the best IF you can agree when it comes to the kids. |

I agree i think that co parenting and joint custody only works if the parents live near each other so the child stays in the same school district and if the parents get along most divorce do not end friendly but i do envy those couples that split on good terms and that is the only way co parenting can work i know our children would be better off if co parenting could work in every situation _________________ Keep your heads up!!!!

I believe 50/50 custody if not good for a child. A child wants one home and they can't have that in a 50/50 situation.
However, Coparenting with the other parent can work in a regular standard visitation schedule for the NCP. I am a CP mom and get along for the most part with my ex and his wife. We took Coparenting counseling together and it has really helped us get along better and our son is happier! |
