I, personally, do not think he will get joint custody.
I would suggest you get a good attorney or start saving for one. You will need to start "documenting" the things he does. Get a calender and what happens and the times.
If he is NOT paying child care expenses or child support- you STILL need to let him see his daughter. If you deny him this right and you go to court later--it will look BAD in the "eyes" of the court. You need to make sure that everything you do will look good int he eyes of the court.
Unfortunatly, he will have rights, as well as his family, to see your daughter. The only thing you could do is get supervised visitations and that might be difficult.
