My daughter's ex married her best friend as soon as he could. She is the town bad girl. They have true joint custody in Texas. Step-mom does everything she can to undermine my daughter. She does what ever she wants with my grandchildren and the father is too much of a wimp to say anything.
Now to the problem. My granddaughter is now 11 years old and needs very badly to shave her legs, But step-witch say's no way.
I would like to know if anyone knows if my daughter can get in legal trouble for letting her daughter shave. My daughter is scared the judge would take her kids and give her ex full custody. Judge is hunting buddy of the ex. Also he is the only family judge in the county. Guess you can guess how hard all this has been on my daughter.

I am so sorry this is happening. Personally I feel your daughter has every right to let HER daughter shave her legs. That is a mom's issue, not a STEPmom's. The dad needs to get his wife to back down. Doesn't seem like to me a court would intervene in something like this. Also if she is self consious about her legs then that is not good for her to not be able to shave.
I hope you and your daughter gets some resloution out of this. Personally I would just let her shave.
