Hi, I will try to be as short but precise as possible with this...I have 3 children. All with different fathers, my oldests father an I were married for almost 7 years when we divorced. My second was a 2 year relationship in which I severed due to some BIG lies, my sons father left the day after I told him I was pregnant....( i have full custody of the other 2, no questions asked) Through all this My oldest was with me, her father remarried and things changed. I also got involved in a relationship which became abusive to me, i asked her father at that time to please keep her until i was able to get out of the situation. Its been almost 3 years now since ive been out of that realtionship and have been with my now husband for a year.
Ive had stability for a little over a year now, I stay home with my kids while my husband works. Life is peaceful, sweet and very stable.
My oldests father has most custody at this point...my question is this, i want more rights as her mother, more involvment in all the aspects of her education, medical etc....as of right now her father only has those rights as laid out in the parenting plan. Ive been involved non-stop and desire more involvment but the father is not allowing it... what do I do, what are my chances as far as gaining more rights...where do I start and how much does this all cost me?

I don't want to make you sad but proably letting him have her was not a good idea, but I know you did what you felt was right at that time. I am a person in which my father had full custody and I didn't go back to my mother until he slipped up and became unfut. I would suggest you get a lawyer and explain what happen and gather some character support if ther is a trial.
