I RECENTLY WENT TO COURT FOR MY DIVORCE. I WAS GRANTED SOLE AND PRIMARY COSTODY OF MY FIVE YEAR OLD SPECIAL NEEDS CHILD. THAT FATHER WAS GRANTED LIBERAL VISITATION WITH HIS MOTHERS SUPERVISION. AND WITHOUT HAVING TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT! DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT I CAN DO TO CHANGE THIS? HOW CAN A JUDGE JUST SAY OK YOU HAVE SOME ISSUES YOU DONT HAVE TO PAY?BUT HEY CAN SEE HER WHEN EVER YOU WANT? SUCH CRAP! IT MAKES ME SO MAD! WHAT CAN I DO?

you can hire an attorney and file for a modification...

And the judge can say he can see her and not pay for her cause custody and support are two entirely different issues and are not linked to each other...

Dads that pay can be denied visitation... but visitation doesn't depend on how much you pay either.

I agree with Still In Love. The judge makes the final decision in this case, since support is not necessarily linked to custody, especially if it's determined that you don't need the support or that the father is unable to pay. You could appeal the decision on the grounds that the child's special needs require it, though.
