|I am a mother and I live in Austria. My children were alienated from me around five years ago, in the United Kingdom, they still currently live there, I have recently got back in touch with my daughter and we are slowly rebuilding our relationship.
I have campaigned tirelessly for children to have rights for access to both parents with family welfare systems that of course do look at the child's interests, but that the current Family Law system in many countries seems to erode natural warm loving relationships that many people suffer loss, hurt anger and pain and familes are destroyed.,
I went through the UK Family Court system for five years, frustration, tears, sweat, the financial fall out, how it affected me was immense and not to mention what it did to my children, to have a bitter ex partner who took everything and the last thing he did was to take my children and keep them from me, in a very clever way that the courts refused to see. Because it was a tough case, moving them from country to country was involved and they suffered.
I am here to offer any help, guidance, support for those parents, mothers grandparents who need an ear to help make it all easier to negotiate. And of course share my own story and how I learned to take a step back and realise that no court in any country could prevent me from being what I am, their mother.
I look forward to posts that I can offer support, share the tears, because I shed many and I drunk the country dry.
I am a teacher in a school here in Austria, have a successful career, a wonderful partner who supports me in this reunification of my family.
I look forward to getting to know you all.
