Super Stressed. Talk about Fathers Rights, try Fathers Rights with Gay Rights thrown in. For the record, I didn't know my ex was gay. That being said, he's already been given a free lawyer thru the gay community. He's pretty much got what he wanted.

I'm planning on marrying and moving to the UK to be with my new husband. My ex and I have 50/50 custody. I've already offered to have him keep the child support in Lew of plane tickets and what not. I want my son (who is 5) 9 months of the year in England. I have offered all summers to my ex, along with Spring Break, Christmas Break. No child support. He says NO, "You can't leave the United States, you have a son." " I will not allow our son to leave 9 months of the year."

Help me.. I've not got the $ for an attorney and I think its BS. He deceived me in our marriage and relationship and I should not be forced to give up my son If I want to leave and remarry. Please note my son would have a solid family life and two older brothers.

This is an issue that will have to be settled in court. You are going to have to get an attorney and file for a modification in custody and support, as well as a move away order.

You can't just take the child even out of the state of residence without it. You could ask your husband to be for the money, or at least go to a consoltation and find out if they will work with you on a payment plan, borrow money from friends and family...

if you don't get started, you will end up being charged with kidnapping, or leaving without your child.

You need a lawyer in this case, especially if this is going to become international.
