I recently got divorced with joint custody. I have physical custody. I recently moved out of state with our kids because I was in danger with him around. In my divorce decree it says that I could with 60 days written notice to the father. He has been ordered to pay child support and he hasn't paid anything. I am to afraid to go after him for it. I just want the best for my kids. I ask them do they want to see him or stay with him they say no because he verbally and physically abuses them. They are too afraid. Despite his wrong doings I never talk down of him around them either. He has no address for residency though. In court he told the judge that he was living out of his car. Know he filed a motion trying to get full custody. Should I be worried of him getting full custody? I'm too afraid to return to the state. He has an endangerment felony that was pending against him with our okjjjldest daughter. And he had a DCF case stating that he stay away from her. He has also been arrested for coming into my home after the divorce and not leaving. He had to get a police escort out. But he doesn't have anything against him with the last child. Should I be concerned about losing cusody?

If all that is against him there is no way he will get custody from you. If he is lucky he will come out with visitation, ma have to be supervised.
The judge might not like that you moved away without proper notice but he will not take the kids and give them to someone they are in danger from.

where does the moron expect them to sleep in the back seat of the car?? Any lame father or mother who doesn't currently engage in there childs life can file anything they want including full custody. I mean if you r gonna file why shouldn't it be for the gusto ya know. It doesn't mean he will actually get it or anything. It is a problem u moved out of state, but if u didn't have an address then how was u to notify him. Say u attempted to locate him being he wasn't paying support gives u a little leg up because they can't say u could have found out. I think these types of morons should be jailed for just abusing the system and costing people time & money.
