Which country? Obviously, hiring a car gives you more flexibility. For example, Thessaloniki is interesting and vibrant city and the choice of places to eat and drink are many and generally excellent. You should have a great time. Also, the traffic and parking in the city centre is horrendous. When we were in Thessaloniki in June & July we went to the airport & back by transfer taxi https://www.hellenictaxi.com/

Once traveled for business matters. At place I had to be no more than two days, and I needed to know everything exactly about my future trips, so I used the parking booking service Orlando Airport Parking (MCO). This is something that has saved me time and increased comfort for me on this trip. Very often I use this service now.

Hello. There a lot of ways how to get from fiumicino to city center. You can do it by train, Leonardo Express train, Regional Train FM1, Private transfer on Mercedes, Terravision Bus, SIT Airport Bus etc. Everything depends on your cash! Good luck
